While doing some research online I stumbled upon these details about the upcoming shooting of Thor: Ragnarok and some interesting details on the plot of the film. While exact dates for the shooting schedule have not been announced, there are some other interesting details revealed.

Shooting of Thor:Ragnarok will start in July 2016

The shooting of Thor: Ragnarok will commence in late July, 2016 and shooting will continue through October, 2016. It takes place at the Village Roadshow Studios in Oxenford, Australia and other locations around Queensland.

Plot details

Thor: Ragnarok will center on Ragnarok, a cyborg clone of Thor who has all the powers of the Asgardian god and none of the humanity. Along the way Thor and Hulk cross paths with Valkyrie, aka Brunnhilde, a longtime member of The Defenders, who has the Norse goddess The Enchantress as her enemy. Also involved in the story will be Grandmaster, a cosmic being who plays chess with lesser lifeforms such as humans.

Stellar cast includes also other stars than just Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston and Anthony Hopkins

Earlier this month the stellar cast was officially announced.

Starring in Thor: Ragnarok are Chris Hemsworth/Thor, Tom Hiddleston/Loki, Mark Ruffalo/Bruce Banner/Hulk, and Anthony Hopkins/. Additional cast members are /Hela, Tessa Thompson/Valkyrie, Jeff Goldblum/Grandmaster, /Skurge, and Idris Elba/Heimdall.

Thor: Ragnarok is directed by  from an adapted screenplay written by Stephany Folsom with earlier drafts written by Craig Kyle and Christopher Yost, based on characters by Jack Kirby, , and Larry Lieber. Kevin Feige and Louis D’Esposito will oversee production for Studios.
