In April 2019 Disney held an investor’s day where among other studio exec’s Kevin Feige was talking about Marvel Studio’s upcoming plans for Disney+ streaming service. During his presentation he shared a first look at the upcoming Loki series with a concept art shot set in 1975.

Disney released official photos from the investor day event on 8 June 2019.

The series is rumoured to be set on earth where travels through time causing mischief throughout human history. In Avengers: Endgame was able to catch the Tesseract and vanished immediately with it into a cloud leaving the Avengers behind. That moment could well be the starting point of the series.

Tom Hiddleston was confirmed to be playing the leading role of Loki in the series by Disney Film Chief Alan Horn earlier in 2019. Michael Waldron has been tapped as the show creator and exec producer.

Marvel is said to reveal their film phase 4 in D23 Expo on Aug 23-25, 2019. Maybe then we finally learn something solid about the plot and facts on the release date too.
